What is the mission of SaaSBoomi?
Our mission is to build a Startup Portfolio with a $1T Enterprise Value by 2030 from India. Each volunteer is crucial in driving us towards this vision, contributing to the emergence of a vibrant Product Nation.
How can I become a volunteer?
To become a volunteer, start by filling out the volunteer application form on our website or attend one of our orientation sessions. You will go through an evaluation period to assess fit. Once confirmed, you will be assigned a Staff POC—your Point of Contact at SaaSBoomi—who will serve as your buddy throughout your volunteer journey. How do I recommend a person to become a volunteer?
To recommend someone, reach out to your Staff POC with the person’s profile and explain why they would be a great fit for SaaSBoomi. The Staff POC will guide you through the volunteer evaluation and onboarding process.
Do I need any specific skills or qualifications to volunteer?
Some roles require specific skills, but more than anything, we value your passion and commitment to our cause. We provide all necessary training and support.
Can I volunteer if I have a full-time job or limited availability?
Yes, we offer flexible volunteering options that can accommodate your schedule, including evenings and weekends.
How do I suggest a new initiative at SaaSBoomi or share improvements in what we do?
We highly value your ideas and initiative. Many of SaaSBoomi’s current initiatives have originated from volunteer suggestions, demonstrating the impactful contributions volunteers make. To propose improvements or new initiatives, please connect with your Staff POC. We welcome and carefully consider all thoughtful suggestions.

What are the expectations of a volunteer?
As a volunteer, you are expected to:

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?
This depends on the role you choose. Some roles require a set schedule, while others are more flexible.
What kind of work will I be doing as a volunteer?
Depending on your role, tasks may include event or initiative coordination, community outreach, administrative support, or direct service to our beneficiaries.
Support and Training
How will I get onboarded as a volunteer?
You will receive comprehensive training tailored to your role, including orientation sessions and skill-specific workshops. Your Staff POC would work with you on this front.
Who can I reach out to if I have questions or need help?
Each volunteer will be assigned a Staff POC who will provide guidance and support throughout your volunteer journey.
Policies and Procedures
What happens if I can no longer volunteer?
Life is unpredictable, and we understand if circumstances change. If you need to adjust your involvement, please communicate with your Staff POC.
Are there rules or guidelines I need to follow?
Yes, our Code of Conduct ensures a respectful and safe environment for everyone. It is provided during orientation and available on our website.
Logistics
Will I be reimbursed for expenses like travel or supplies?
Reimbursement for certain expenses is available. Discuss specific policies with your Staff POC.
Do I get free access to all SaaSBoomi events?
Active volunteers often receive free or discounted access to our events as a token of our gratitude.
Recognition and
Benefits
Will I receive a certificate or proof of volunteering?
Certificates of volunteering are available upon request for academic, professional, or personal purposes.
Are there any benefits for volunteers? How does the organization recognize its volunteers?
Volunteering provides opportunities for personal and professional growth, networking, training, and special recognition events.
We celebrate our volunteers through annual appreciation events, awards, and regular acknowledgments on our platforms and newsletters.
Dispute Resolution
What should I do if I experience a conflict with another volunteer or staff member?
If you experience a conflict, we encourage open and respectful communication. First, try to address the issue directly with the individual involved. If direct resolution is challenging, seek guidance from your Staff POC.
Is there a formal process for handling disputes?
Yes, unresolved issues can be formally addressed by submitting a grievance to the Volunteer Council. This council, comprised of core volunteers, is reformed every two years to ensure fairness and renewal.
What happens if I feel I am being treated unfairly or harassed?
We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. Report any such incidents immediately for necessary action. The Volunteer Council will handle the situation with the utmost confidentiality and care.
Will my concerns be kept confidential?
Yes, all disputes are handled with confidentiality to protect the privacy of everyone involved. Only individuals directly involved in resolving the matter will have access to the information.
